Jeremy Allaire, the CEO of Circle, expressed confidence in the United States taking a lead in regulating digital dollar currencies. Allaire believes there is a significant possibility of the U.S. passing stablecoin legislation in the current year, citing momentum and a desire to assert leadership in the evolving digital financial landscape. These remarks were made during an interview with CNBC on January 15 at the World Economic Forum’s annual meeting in Davos, Switzerland.
