On the day of the highly anticipated release of Apple’s premium $3,500 Vision Pro headset, a Tesla driver named Dante attracted attention for a video demonstration that led to him being pulled over by the police. Dante shared a video on X (formerly known as Twitter), showcasing himself driving a Tesla while wearing the Apple Vision Pro over his eyes. In the brief clip, Dante interacted with a virtual screen visible through the headset, all while his hands were off the steering wheel.

The video abruptly shifted to a scene where Dante is pulled over by the police, with flashing lights behind him, though the specific location and police department remain unspecified. Dante’s Twitter profile suggests he resides in Palo Alto, California.

Apple’s safety guidelines explicitly prohibit using the Vision Pro headset while operating a moving vehicle or engaging in activities that demand attention to safety. The company’s website advises against using the headset while driving, cycling, operating heavy machinery, or in similar situations.
