Starbucks has recently announced the discontinuation of its NFT rewards program, the “Odyssey Beta program,” citing a need to make way for new initiatives. This move follows a trend seen in other major companies over the past year.

The program, which allowed customers to earn and purchase digital collectible stamps in the form of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) by participating in coffee-themed games and challenges, will conclude on March 31. Along with the program’s end, the marketplace for trading digital stamps and the community discord server will also be shut down.

Although Starbucks has not provided specific reasons for ending the program, it stated a necessity to prepare for future developments as the program evolves. The company has advised users to transition to the Nifty marketplace for buying, selling, and transferring their existing Odyssey stamps.
